Till now there is nothing official about Lisandro Lopez, also is pretended for River. One of the most wanted players is maxi lopez (cavenaghi sustitute) he is pretend for Milan, but he is younger than fernando i think que has 20 years!!! All River playes are stolen since they are very young!!

Boy: Rememeber that 11 millon of dolars is 33 millon of argentine money..lot. But compare with the 40 millons for veron is nothing. I think that he can make be sell for much more money if he make a good quality of goals with spartak. (noe i became spatak fan)

The defensive midfielder or river is call to be one of the best players in the world, his name is MASCHERANO. It seems that he will be leaving and play for Real MAdrid. The is other river player call LEDESMA(how played in HAMBURGO) that it also good. At this time a small team NEWELLS is near to became champion of the argentine league. His defensive midfielder is ROSADA, and is having a great year.

In order to mention young attakers i will mention PALACIOS (play for Banfield) and will play soon for BOCA. Then there is ROLANDO ZARATE (VELEZ ZARFIELD) is romoured that he will be transfer to RIver. For last, but may be the more promising is LISANDRO LOPEZ, he play for RACING and is the actual top goalscorer.

Tevez is great, perhaps more than cavenaghi but he is insert in the crazy life like maradona did and that will probabily make him not show how fantastic he is.

I find this site by diving in the net looking for information of argentine players in russia ( there are many).

Cavenaghi is certainly not famous for his gols from long distance and head, he is like nore than the ¨magical ¨ Romario. Althoug he is center striker he can assist to goal, and participate en the construccion of the goal. He did make few goals from long distance but it seems that he prefer to pass the ball and reach near to shot to goal. He is not tall and not too heavy, but in argentine sub-23 makes some goals showing determination and braverly.

I heard a interview of him in a tv program of argentina. He says that the fact that are lot of argentine playing in russia makes them feel better. Obviosly the weather and the costumes are very diferent, but he mention that he feels good in moscow and enjoy visit places like de RED PARK (dont know how to spell it).

In my opinion, russian and argenitne has lot more in comun that what all think. Years ago i used to watcht Mostovoi playing and he remind me players like aimar or Riquelme.

In the interviw FErnando talked about titov and how great player he is, i trust in that. There are many good russian players (but with less marketing than beckham).

Talking about clemente, i think that the problem is that here he wast distinguish for his phsical aptitude. But i had see that russian players are very fast and strong, so that makes that clemente dont shine. anyway he can play as midelfier for the left o right side and makes some good situacion of goals.

I dont know if Fernando is titular or suplent, i will apreaciate if anyone can tell something about his performance til now.

In river, he used to kick penalties & free kick`s with a great efectiviti of goals.

Hy everybody, i`am from argentina. I`m very fan of River Plate, and in the last early time y became fernando cavenaghi in one of my favourite players(like aimar, ortega and francescoli). There ir lot of things i could say, but as is my first time here y will say that i hope fernando can show in Russia all his potencial. He is not a strong player as it was Batistuta, bur surerly he got more technic and beuty in the way que tocuh de ball.

On the other side, Clemente Rodriguez, played for Boca juniors( rival of river) and i say that i had ti suffer de avility of clemente to run a lot (in a fast way) for the left side of the pitch. He is that kind of player that maybe dont shine as others, bur surerly he do a best work than many of them.

Both played few times for Argentine Team, and did a good performance. I think that may be they will be caller soon to player a friendly match for argentine.
